Writing for a Living Colloquium
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invited me and three other local alums to share our experience being full-time writers with English MA graduate students. We covered how we leverage our Master degrees in English to make a living, as well as how we maintain our full-time writing schedules.
The Best Horror of the Year Vol. 13
Every year Ellen Datlow—or as the New York Times calls her, “the venerable queen of horror anthologies”—releases a summation of notable works in her Best Horror of the Year anthology. I’m honored she mentioned two of my short stories, “Phases of the Shadow” and “Women of the Mere,” as standouts in Vastarien Vol. 3 and Places We Fear to Tread respectively.
